National Healthcare Conference
The National Healthcare Conference is Ireland’s largest healthcare conference. It took place on the 1st and 2nd April in the Convention Centre in Dublin and was attended by over 600 key influencers and international experts in healthcare.
The Conference featured key note national and international speakers including Tony O’Brien, Director General, HSE; singer, Frances Black and Minister for Primary Care, Alex White, TD.
The 2014 National Healthcare Conference included a Digital Health Forum which took place in association with Connected Health in UCD. In the Digital Health Forum, seven healthcare technology companies presented their innovative healthcare technology products to delegates.
The technology companies included: Kinesis, Shimmer, Syncrophi, Sláinte Healthcare, Full Health Medical, Nurse Buddy and Ranesys Patient Handover. Coverage was secured for the technology Forum in Silicon Republic, The Sunday Times and Drivetime on RTE Radio 1. Widespread national and regional media coverage was also secured for the conference in the run up to the event.
In addition to the media relations activity, Vital Communications managed the social media activity for Investnet Healthcare. This included the design of professionally branded social media platforms for the Company and the Conference and the regular management of content leading up to the Conference.
