Vital Communications Shortlisted for Public Relations Award
Vital Communications is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the prestigious annual Public Relations Awards organised by the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII).
Vital Communications has been shortlisted for the Award for its work with The Rutland Centre’s annual awareness campaign, ‘Recovery Month’. Based in Knocklyon in Dublin, the Rutland Centre is Ireland’s foremost addiction treatment centre. Approximately 400 people per annum receive treatment at the centre for addictions including food, sex, drugs, alcohol and gambling.
‘Recovery Month’ is an initiative spearheaded by the Rutland Centre that aims to break the stigma associated with addiction. The campaign sets out to instill confidence in people affected by addiction by making them aware that a life in Recovery is possible.
Commenting, Aoife O’Donnell, Managing Director, Vital Communications said: “As everyone working in the public relations industry will know, working on a major health campaign such as Recovery Month is extremely hard work for everyone involved. However, the passion, enthusiasm and creativity that we share with the Rutland Centre on this project make it a truly enjoyable and immensely rewarding experience.”
The Awards for Excellence is the beacon for best practice in Irish public relations and communications and those shortlisted set the benchmark for work within the sector, and showcase the best the PR profession has to offer.
The 2018 winners will be announced at a gala luncheon on 22nd June 2018.
